Don Fenton
Fenton has worked on multi-million dollar campaigns for Canada’s Federal Ministry of Finance, Toshiba, Rogers/Cantel, Ontario Hydro and Canada’s Insurance Brokers.
While an account director with two international public relations firms, he worked with AT&T in Canada and the United States, Pepsi Co and IMASCO.
Fenton has worked with the news media on stories in Australia, Canada, Chile, China, Europe, New Zealand, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States. He has served as the senior communications executive for two public, multinational corporations listed on the TSX, NYSE, ME, Paris, Brussels and Antwerp and for private corporations with operations in Asia Pacific, North America and Europe.
Fenton has lectured on marketing communications, advertising and public relations at Ryerson University and at the University Of Toronto School Of Continuing Studies. He has designed and delivered corporate workshops in executive media training, selling and business writing.
Fenton has worked the other side of the communications dynamic with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (StreetLegal), Universal Pictures (Alfred Hitchcock Presents), various stage productions, and television commercials including spots for milk and Coke.
He studied improvisational comedy with Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, John Candy and Gilda Radner and learned to write for The Second City as a member of the Toronto touring company.
