The primary role of Publicity is to further the promotion and sales
of a company’s products and services through the optimum positioning
of targeted media coverage, whereas Public Relations is the management
of community perceptions and information, often in maintaining a positive
company image, and also in offering related services such as investor communications,
community relations, and crisis management. This unique certificate
will cover Publicity & PR fundamentals and tools, and will provide successful
templates for maximizing your message and the role of the media
in marketing your company and its products.
This certificate requires the successful completion of two courses:
Students have one year from the start date of their first course to complete the Certificate.
One
of Fenton’s most intriguing clients this year is Debbie Papadakis.
Debbie is a hypno-therapist and the founder of the Hypno-Healing
Institute. Her clients come from all over the world. We set up interviews
for Debbie in various media including the National
Post and CITY-TV. Debbie
is the only hypno-therapist featured in Oprah's new book for her successful
work on shyness. You can find out more about Debbie in ‘O’s
Big Book of Happiness’. It hit the shelves this month in bookstores
everywhere.
